Once when I visited the home
of a colleague. When entering and sitting in the living room, I read an
interesting article that reads “all men
can be a father, but not all can be a Father”. Almost a quarter hour I was pensive, while
waiting for a friend in his house who is in the shower, try to think,
understand or interpret the text. In my mind a father certainly becomes a
Father or in the other words a father is the same with a Father. Shortly after
the host sit in the living room, my desire and curiosity to find out the
meaning of the sentence above is unstoppable. What does it mean, what’s the
diffrence of father and Father? So I asked with great curiosity. Of course
different said my friend with straightforward and unequivocal answer? Because
we’ve certainly become the father of our children, but not necessarily be a
Father.
We
automatically become a father due to the birth of our children, but became the
Father of the terms of your responsibilities. As father, we automatically given
clan for children, while the Father had to prepare for his behaviour. As father
we can provide physical needs, such as food, clothing, school, but as a Father
we are required to provide such faith spiritual needs, behavior and
responsibilities.
Without being educated or taught a child has been become into clan
Siregar, because his father is Siregar or Sanger’s clan because his father is
Sanger. Therefore become a Father is much heavier than only the father because
concerns about moral responsibility and behaviour as well as the future of our
children.
But
certainly we know that a lot of men who had become the father of many children,
wether because his wife gave birth to many children or divorce of his wife or
anyting else, but not necessarily he has become a Father.
Of
course there is an important question, “do you want to be a father and the
Father of your children?” if the answer
is “Yes”, then take responsibility for providing the spiritual needs of your
children regarding faith, morals and behaviour in addition to his physical
needs.
