SUBMISSION

The success of a team does not only depend  on the leader alone. But it also depends on the success of unity between the leaders with the led. Therefore, as the person who led (subordinates), one thing that must be done is submission. Without going to submission, it is imposible for us to work well within a team. 

Today, the self-awareness to submission become fade. More people are difficult to be submitted to the authority of others. This happens in all circles, in families, communities, work places, and even in our country. As a result, a lot of messes happen everywhere.

At home, chlidren are no longer willing to listen to the advice of parents. At school, students against the teacher. In the companies and governments, government and company,s policies have always been opposed by massive demonstrations.  As a result, the entire performance become obstructed. Not only that, anger, hurt and frustration increase spreading in everyone. If this trend continues, the conflict will be more tapered.

Submission is an important thing done by any persons. A child should submit to a parent, a wife must submit to her husband, an employee must submit to his superiors and the people must submit to the government. And as believers we must submit to God as the ultimate authority in our lives.

Submitting ourselves is not easy to do especially when we find that a person or institution above us do not fit our expectations. But somehow we have  to reduce our ego and accept all decisions gracefully. Let us not fight them with violence, because it will only bring disaster for us, but reprove and rebuke them gently.

Submission, sincerely and full of joy, not necessarily. Because in the submission, we are processed to grow into humble individuals and have integrity before receiving authority (responsibility to lead) entrusted by God to us.
