TRUE SUCCESS

Most people judge the success from material, facilities and postion of a person. However, if is the assessment correct? Absolutely not. From that answer, we might also be wondering, why is that? To answer that let us consider the following story :

Howard Hughes is one of the richest men in the United Stastes who has aircraft company. He is very rich man, but unfortunately at the end of his life he had to die because of a mental disorder such as a phobia against germs in food. It made Hughes afraid to eat food so his body was very thin and sick. He did not get to enjoy all the food although he had much money to buy it.

Similarly with Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley is the King of Music and also the rich and very well known man in the world. Maybe people though that Elvis would be happy because of enjoying wealth and popularity. But in reality, he could not sleep. Because of that, Elvis had to take a sedative drug and he eventually died of an overdose and addiction. They are the ones who are successful in their career. But the success they get were not true success. True success is a balance that includes a variety of things such as health, finance, family, good social relations and the best is the relationship with God. What is the use if we reach success in this world but we do not suceed in Hereafter? Or we can acquire  all the wealth and power but we are not all able enjoying it. Is not in all in vain? The only way to achieve success is obedient to God. People who obey like a tree planted in the edge of water streams, which always bear fruit in its season and its leaves never wither. Obedience  always make people successful and happy because of God,s abundant blessings in their life, both in this life and in the everlasting life later. So let us building our lives in obedience, for the blessings, happiness, and true success we get throughout our lives.
